Of the six models tested, this electronic dart board received a Best rating
in every category from a panel of dart enthusiasts. It offers the Best
variety of games, challenging levels of play, is easy to use and has
exceptional design features. Regulation sized (131/4" diam.), it
accommodates 8 players with team option, or players can compete
against a computerized virtual opponent with 7 skill levels from novice to
champion. For arcade-style play, it uses soft-tip darts and is programmed
with 28 popular games with 130 variations including 12 types of Cricket,
Random Cricket®, 301-1001, Minefield, Billiards, Hot Potato and more.
Automatic score keeping on 4 oversized Cricket LED scoreboards with
simultaneous cumulative and actual score readouts for each player. A dot
matrix display window provides playing cues and announces scores such
as “Triple” or “Bullseye.” The large “doublewide” catch ring registers
each missed dart; the board also offers individual handicapping,
adjustable difficulty settings for eacculty settings for each game,
score-activated sound effects and an electronic voice game announcer.
